General info: Daisuke was once the captain of 3rd Division, having been the first to take up the mantle, before moving to the isolated space of Soul Society to become the captain of the then newly Zero Division. Following a disastrous event, he made the living world his home. He has a total of six children, with two of them living with him, the second eldest Yuudai, and the youngest Raikajin. Currently his ex partner Shihouin Yoruichi, following her encounter with enemies, is living at his abode with the rest of their children Kimoko, Mizuki, Tetsuya and the cared for Jade.

Shikai appearance: Two equally sized Tsurugi, or 'broad swords'. Both swords emit a white aura to start with, though the energy around both begins to strip off from the blade tip down towards his hands, revealing their true colour. One is a dull, lifeless grey, as dark as the moon's surface itself, while the other gains a shining golden glint to it as if it were made by light itself. The energy that drips off of their surfaces congeals at the hilts into dangling chains which were inversed to the blade they were on. Quite simply, the golden blade had a grey chain, and vice versa.

Bankai name: Tennō Kusanagi

Bankai appearance:  He gains an additional four Tsurugi, two new grey ones, as well as two new golden ones. Their abilities are the same as its Shikai release, but on a much grander scale, as well as having their own little secrets, including, but not limited to the ability to be controlled by telekinesis now, enabling them to float around him and act out an auto-defence. His own form also changes, gaining parts of samurai armour. His shoulders gaining Samurai Sode, his arms Kote's which were connected to glove-like Tekko's, which protected his hands. And finally at either side of his waist he had panels from a Kusazuri.

Release appearance: The weapon becomes relatively bigger in size, and gains a new, unique shape. On closer inspection, the middle of the blade is missing, giving the weapon a double-blade look. Both sides extend upwards now further, curving off towards one another like pincers. The steel of Izanami was inscribed with various kanjis, which when read would depict the creation of the world at the hands of the primordial gods.

Vaizado Mask: The hollow bone-like substance spreads across his face, encompassing it. Upon his face slit type eyes are formed, two sets of them to give him a total of four ruby orbs. Atop his head, positioned around the forehead two vertical, blood red horns, a trait based on from his days as Musashi, are formed.
